I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Willis and Brookside Kennel for our beautiful Cavachon puppy Holly. We picked her up a week ago and she's already a member of the family. She is healthy, happy and full of endless energy. I would definitely recommend anyone looking to expand their family to reach out to Willis. I was very skeptical about sending a deposit without meeting our puppy in person, but I read through the references, checked reviews and even got a vet reference that Willis was happy to give to me. We made the trip to go get him and he was perfect (except for the 3 hrs of car sickness on the ride home which was no fault of his). He-man quickly became friends with our cat and has even calmed her down now that she has a playmate. Willis and his wife were very friendly and informative. Our puppy is very healthy and shows no signs of carrying genes for future diseases (DNA testing). We did a TON of research and found that Willis had the most reasonably priced pup we were looking for and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend and have already recommended to a few friends. My husband and I bought "Cathy" from Willis in early August of 2015, and we had an excellent experience. We fell in love with our puppy as soon as we saw pictures of her! Willis allowed us to come meet and play with the puppy a few weeks before we got to pick her up. We decided to drive the 3.5 hours to pick her up, although he did offer to have her delivered right to our front door for a very reasonable cost! He was very nice, super informative, and also quick to get back with any questions or concerns we had. I would absolutely recommend going to Brookside Kennel for not only a great experience, but a healthy pup! Cathy has been to the vet twice now for shots and check up's and the vet is very happy with her health, she hasn't had any problems. From start to finish our experience with Brookside Kennels was a pleasure. We completely fell in love with our puppy, Moose, the moment we saw him on the website. From the time I contacted Willis he was responsive and helpful, answering all of my initial questions and all others that cropped up along the way. He was good about sending me a few additional pictures at my request which I appreciated. He was also quick to send me pictures of the parents, too. I was very nervous about having our puppy flown all the way to the west coast but he was so happy and healthy when he arrived, it was obvious the flight was not a source of trauma for him. He has quickly become a complete rock star at our vet clinic. His arrival is announced to the entire staff when we check in. Our vet and a couple of the vet techs have all complimented our puppy on how well-bred he is. They have found him to be very healthy and in good condition with a good coat, healthy joints and a great disposition. He is smart as a whip, taking quickly to crate training and house breaking. Brookside Kennel was a pleasure to work with. Willis provided me with everything I had requested to be comfortable as I was nervous about scams and buying from a website. Frenchie Pug, Frankie, arrived in Denver safe, happy, and healthy 2 weeks ago. She is clearly intelligent as potty training was understood in 1 week and my nephew is teaching her commands in sign language. Frankie responds to signs for her name, toilet, inside, outside, and sit all at only 10 weeks old! I am pleased with the quality & ingredients of the food recommended by Willis and will continue to feed this brand. I appreciate all the help he has been during my calls with many questions as well as the very quick responses. Overall, I had an excellent experience and love having Frankie (aka Frank&Beans, Frank the Tank, Frankenstein) with her upbeat fun personality as a part of our home. I purchased a frenchie/puggle mix from Brookside Kennel and now we want another one.Stewart (our puppy) is just a love. He is about to turn one next month. We got our little frenchie pug puppy from Willis at Brookside Kennel in may of 2022. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience. From the beginning Willis was helpful and answered all of our questions. We had encountered previous scams so we found this very reassuring. He sent us updated pictures when we asked for them and always responded to our calls or texts. When the day came for us to pick up our puppy, we couldn’t have been more excited. She is beyond perfect. She is even cuter in person than in the pictures ! She is cuddly and playful , a perfect mix of sugar and spice. You can tell she loved Willis as she kept following him around , so that spoken volumes to us to how well the puppies were treated. She is great with our family and just loves people. The vet complimented her great health and we continue to feed her life’s abundance food. I am 100% positive when the time comes for another pup, we will be contacting Willis. We got Louie from Willis in 2019, from the first communication until Louie came to live with us, Willis was helpful, knowledgeable, communicative and friendly. He worked with us on the pick up since we lived hours away too! Willis invited my husband to meet Louie’s mother and siblings, this made him feel so good about where our. It came from! We bought our French Bulldog puppy "Dozer" from Willis at Brookside Kennels back at Christmas time. Willis returned our phone calls and texts back with in a quick amount of time. He was very understanding and had several puppies for us to look at and helped us pick the puppy that was right for us. He even called to check in after a week to see how he was doing and how his first vet appt went which told me he shows great concern for his puppies health and well being. We love our pooch and are very glad we chose Brookside Kennel.
